Dearest Family.
My mom called me yesterday with the news of Ray's passing. My heartfelt condolences for this loss. I am reminded how blessed to have grown up in your extended family circle. So much to remember, appreciate and celebrate of his life, his love for Elva, caring, fun loving family of daughters! You have always extended yourselves to others - with such warmth and welcome. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We feel so sad to hear of Ray's passing. We have great memories of the time we spent with Ray during our visits to the US. Remembering times spent together playing pool and poker at the "Tree House" and enjoying sharing life's experiences over a Vodka & Soda on Fire Island. Pam: My mother wants me to extend her condolences for the passing of your father. It brought back memories for Mom of the time my father visited your home in Connecticut. He always spoke of how welcome everyone made him feel and what wonderful hosts your father and mother were. I remember his saying "They treated me like I was family." Mother and I did not know your father, but in reading the memorial it is easy to see what a remarkable life he led. Please tell your mother and other family members that our prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow. Emily Salazar
