Obituary of John Palumbo
John A. Palumbo, age 63, a New Canaan resident died Wednesday Oct. 20, 2010 in the Smith House, Stamford. Born in Stamford, CT March 1, 1947 he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary DeMartinis Palumbo.
He was an avid golfer, and formerly worked in the New Canaan Country Club golf shop.
Survivors include a sister, Sylvia P. Napoletano and her husband Alfred of Stamford
One brother, Joseph Palumbo, of Tolland, CT and one niece.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 12 :00 in St. Aloysius Church, Cherry St, New Canaan, with interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan. Friends may call at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan Monday 10:30 AM.
