Dear Camille and family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy at you loss of a wonderful man, father, and Doctor. I was very privileged to work with Joe for many years and saw his empathy, kindness, caring and joking often. He was truly a mentor to many of us and tried to make sometimes a very stressful job fun too. His compassion for his patients should be emulated and they were often heard saying "My Dr. is the best".,and he was. No greater gift could be obtained then to have a building named for him so all who continue to seek help, will know of his contributions. Please know he's in heaven playing jokes on all those who preceded him and still rooting for the Yankees.May you find comfort in the fact that he was so loved and will not be forgotten. Sincerly,
Mary Ellen

Dear Camille and family-
I was saddened to learn of Joe's passing. I have wonderful memories of his kindness, devotion to patients, support of colleagues, pride in his family, and of course his pranks. When our daughter worked as an aide at Silver HIll one summer (she now has a doctorate in nursing) She retaliated toone of Joe's tricks by giving him a rubber shark. She thought he was a terrific psychiatrist, as did I. A real mensch!
Dick and I hope that good memories sustain you through difficult times.I am sure he is a peace.
Fondly,
Joan

Dear Joe,
Farewell for now.
I am recalling the surprise and delight on your face when you got a Yankees signed baseball in 1986.
And I am forgiving you again for dumping Mr. Postal on me.
See you later at Joe and Joe's
Fondly, Michael
